Mission Statement

The Estonian Society for Dermatovenereologists is the professional organisation for specialists dermatovenerologists and residents in Estonia with the mission to promote, advance, foster and stimulate the specialty of dermatovenereology. We aim to further the knowledge of dermatology and venereology by clinical study, laboratory research, publication and teaching and to apply such knowledge to the prevention and treatment of diseases.

To accomplish its aims the Society contributes to CME and training of physicians, elaborates guidelines of diagnosis and treatment, advises the health authorities (incl. Ministry of Social Affairs the Health Insurance Fund) in the topics of contemporary service delivery, raises public awareness of skin and sexual health and disease and collaborates with other national and international organizations with similar aims.
